recipes that we have found to be
some of our customer's
favorites.
Pecan Pie

2
eggs 2/3 cup sugar
2 T. butter,
melted 1t. vanilla flavoring
1/2 t.
salt 1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 cup chopped
Durden's Pecans
Combine ingredients and pour into
unbaked pastry shell. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 325
degrees and bake for 40 minutes.
Nutty Fingers
1-1/4 sticks
butter 6 T. powdered sugar
1 T. ice
water 2 cups flour
1 t. vanilla
flavoring Pinch of salt
1 cup chopped
Durden's Pecans
Soften butter. Add sugar.
Cream well. Add water, nuts, and vanilla. Add flour. Roll.
Cook in slow oven for 40 minutes on ungreased pan. Roll in powdered sugar.
Chewy Cake
1 box brown
sugar 4 eggs
2 cups self-rising
flour 1/2 stick butter, melted
1t. vanilla
flavoring
2 cups chopped
Durden's Pecans
Beat eggs. Add sugar. Mix well until
dissolved. Add flour, butter, vanilla, and nuts. Pour into a shallow baking
pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. When cool, cut into squares.
